Frequently Asked Questions? 

Do I need a passport? A: Yes, you will need a passport that is valid for 6 months after you return from travel.

Is airfare included? A: No, airfare is not included. You can book on your own or ask Adams Global Travel to assist you with it. 

Can I travel alone? A: Yes, we have single rooms and rates available. 

Can roommates be matched? A: While we do not normally do this, we will try to assist in finding a roommate for someone. 

Can I drink if I don’t like beer? A: Yes, there will be other drinks besides beer. 

Do I need travel insurance? A: While travel protection is not required, we highly reccomend it. Anything can happen before and during travel that the insurance will help cover. 

Will we have free time? A: Yes, you will have free time. 

What currency is used? A: You can use your credit cards to purchase things or cash. The Currency there is Euro’s. 

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated? A: Yes, they can as long as you let us know about it. 

Is Oktoberfest safe? A: Oktoberfest in Munich is generally very safe, supported by stringent entry controls, heavy police presence, and on-site emergency facilities. However, the massive crowds and high-alcohol beer create risks for pickpocketing, over-intoxication, and harassment. Stay secure by safeguarding your belongings, sticking with friends, and pacing your drinking.

How much spending money should I bring? A:

Cash vs. Credit Cards

Credit cards are widely accepted throughout Germany and in many places in the Czech Republic. However, some beer tents, smaller restaurants, cafés, and local shops may prefer or only accept cash.

What is the weather like? A: Oktoberfest takes place in late September and early October, one of the most beautiful times of year to visit Bavaria. Expect crisp autumn mornings, comfortable afternoons, and cool evenings—perfect weather for sightseeing, enjoying beer gardens, and experiencing the festival.

While many days are sunny and pleasant, fall weather can change quickly, so it’s best to come prepared for a variety of conditions.

What should I pack?  A: Late September and early October offer beautiful fall weather in Germany and the Czech Republic, but temperatures can change throughout the day. Mornings and evenings are often cool, while afternoons can be pleasantly mild.
